Cantine Delite
L’Arcimboldo magazine takes its name from the 16th-century painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo, who created his famous “Composite Heads,” paintings that revealed a human figure by combining fruit and vegetables, fish, and food products.

“The Arcimboldo,” a golden statuette with a modern and stylized shape, created by 3D artist Francesco Conte, an expert in lighting and look development (www.frankwy.com), was created to recognize Artists of Taste, in Italy and abroad. These are those who, through their profession and divided into specific categories, meet the following requirements in the food and wine sector: “Artists of Taste, custodians and ambassadors of ancient arts, capable of narrating history and communicating the culture of their region, looking to the future and keeping pace with the times and trends, with uniqueness and emotional capacity.”

The Arcimboldo also equates to the symbol of the paintbrush used by artists to create their works.

Cantina Delite is in the L’Arcimboldo Guide, awarded 2 Brushes in the Excellence category.

“Passion is contagious”, begins the presentation of the Delite winery, located in Montemarano in the province of Avellino, because making wine is precisely the contagious passion passed down over the years from generation to generation by the De Lisio family.

Today Cantine Delite bears the name of Emanuele Coscia, a young winemaker, a skilled cellarman who juggles with great professionalism between the rows and the cellar.
In his wines, Emanuele has brought the right balance between the peasant wisdom inherited from his grandfather Generoso and the modern winemaking techniques acquired in his studies at the Royal School of Viticulture and Oenology of Avellino.
Cantina Delite is located in the Irpinia area best suited to the production of Aglianico and this is in fact their main vine, grown on six hectares of clayey soil, rich in volcanic material and potassium.

Three wines are produced at Cantina Delite:
GENEROSO-Aglianico Igt
It takes its name from the founder of the De Lisio family. With an intense ruby red color, it brings all the fullness of the aromas belonging to the grapes, rich in flavor and generous on the palate.
NONNA SEPPA-Campi Taurasini Doc
It takes its name from the founder of the family. Obtained from a careful selection of the best Aglianico grapes.

PENTAMERONE-Taurasi Docg
A wine that, for its olfactory complexity, for its richness of taste, offers new emotions with every glass.
Therefore its name is inspired by the homonymous literary work by Gianbattista Basile (already governor of Montemarano since 1626), defined by Benedetto Croce as the oldest and richest among the books of popular fairy tales.
Delite wines, an expression of time and place.
